How to Track Absenteeism Effectively: A Practical Excel Model for Your Organization

Anshu Goyal
Hi All,

I am posting an Absenteeism Tracker that will help you in calculating the daily/weekly/monthly absenteeism in your organization. I have attached three Excel sheets, explaining the Absenteeism Tracker Model, Practical Absenteeism Tracker, and Guidelines to explain the working of the tracker more briefly. I hope it will help you! For any query or explanation, you can email or post your query at ansh.goyal@gmail.com.

Thanks & regards,

Anshu Goyal

Hi Anshu,

Many thanks for your template. It's very handy to have a template to prepare the weekly absenteeism report. Keep posting the good ones.

Dear Anshu,

Can I update this sheet and also use it as a tool for travel tracking, as I have a group of 50-60 people going on and off rotation? Please advise.

Thanks,
Paru

Dear Anshu,

Thank you for the posting; it was very helpful. Please share some more formats for vacancy tracking on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Since I am working in retail, please provide your inputs with hypermarkets in mind. I am looking forward to a positive response.

Thank you so much.

Regards,
Gaurav

Formats Required for Budgeting and Tracking

I need formats for budgeting retail payroll costs, training trackers, new hiring trackers, absconding trackers, and exit trackers. I also need your support to properly understand the differences between budgeted and actual costs in hypermarkets.

I have been assigned new projects where I have to formulate all the processes, formats, and tracking systems that will help my organization gain a better understanding of the actuals versus the budgeted numbers. My key focus area will be managing the entire retail payroll cost by tracking absenteeism, open vacancies, exits, absconding, and more.

Please provide your inputs as soon as possible. I will be very thankful for your assistance.

Regards,
Gaurav
