Linking Employee Vacation Sheets: How Can I Easily Access and Print Details?

Dear All,

I would like to inform you that I have a Vacation Details sheet which calculates consumed days, balance, number of days since joining, and other information such as department, job title, etc.

The question is, how can I link the master sheet with another sheet so that when I insert an employee number, I receive all the information regarding that particular employee, enabling me to print when requested by the employee.

Your assistance is highly appreciated.

Hi, you just checked the file that I already attached. In that file, if you click on the Sheet2 option, it will go to Sheet 2 in the same book. Also, if you click on the Sheet3 option, it will go to Sheet 3 in the same book. First, check it. If you have any other queries, feel free to ask.

To add to the above question, how do I link the two sheets so that data fed into one sheet automatically updates in the other sheet?

You can use lookups to get automatic updates in the other sheet. For more details, you can attach your Excel sheet, and I will provide you with the exact solution.

Yes, VLOOKUP is the best option in this regard. Also, you can extract all the details onto your master sheet from all the other sheets. A sample sheet has been enclosed for your perusal.
