Can You Withdraw Provident Fund for Your Daughter's Marriage After 10 Years of Service?

Shraboni. Ghosh
Hello everyone,

I wish to ask whether a non-refundable withdrawal of Provident Fund can be done for a daughter's marriage. The person has been in service for 10 years.

Please advise.

If the person served more than 7 years in the same company, then only he/she can avail the loan facility.

I faced a similar issue at one of my client sites. They asked the person to take a break in service, withdraw his entire PF, and join again.
