Closed My PF Account Early – What Happens to My Pension Percentage?

jinukthomas
Dear Seniors,

Recently, I have closed my PF account after 3 years of service. Based on Form 3A, I have noticed that I have not received the pension percentage. What will happen to the pension percentage if we withdraw the money before the pension period?

Regards,

Since you have only 3 years of service, you will receive the pension fund contribution subject to a small percentage deduction. Sometimes it is sent separately. You can contact the EPF Office for details.

Please make it clear, "If a PF account is closed, then you can't take any advantage after six months of closing."

Dear All,

When you have to withdraw your PF amount, you need to submit 2 forms to the PF office, i.e., Form 19 and Form 10C. Form 19 is for the withdrawal of the PF amount, which is deposited with the PF office, i.e., 15.67%, and Form 10C is for the withdrawal of the Pension fund, which is deposited with the PF office, i.e., 8.33%.

So, I think this may clear up any confusion.

Regards,
Vikram
