How Do You Verify an Employee's Address Change in HR MIS Reports? Seeking Ideas!

Hi Members,

I want to know how we can verify or confirm if any employee wants to change their address in the HR MIS report. One way is to send a letter by post to that address, which will be duly signed by the employee at their address and then sent back to the company. I am also looking for other possible methods.

Dear Sandeep,

By legal parlance, an employee is supposed to give a letter to the company indicating his full address details and requesting an update of official records. There is no need to verify such an address as his self-declaration is sufficient for all official purposes. It is mandatory/obligatory on the part of the employee to furnish correct details for his own benefit, i.e., for PF, ESI, retiral benefits, nominations, accident eventualities, etc.
