Need Urgent Help: What Are the Salary Ranges for Yahoo Employees in Bangalore?

Hi all,

Is there anyone who can help me in knowing the salary bracket for employees working with Yahoo in Bangalore? Actually, I am doing some salary surveys of top companies, but I am not getting the exact idea for Yahoo. Is there anyone who has contacts in Yahoo who can tell me how much approximate salary is to be paid to the software professionals with experience from 1 to 4 years and from 4 to 9 years?

I would really appreciate it if any of you could help in this regard. Please reply because it's urgent. I have only a short span of time to submit this report.

In my last organization, I had conducted a salary survey for a few top companies, including Yahoo. As far as my memory serves me, for 1-3 years, the salary range was between 4.5 lakh and 6.5 lakh, which could extend to 7.5 lakh. For 3-6 years, the range was between 6.00 lakh and 8.5 lakh, which could extend to 10.00 lakh. For 6-9 years, the range was between 8.00 lakh and 13.00 lakh, which could go up to 15.00 lakh, depending on the candidate. Please note that these figures are a few years old, so I recommend verifying them before you actually use them.

It depends on the category they belong to. People from Yahoo with 1-4 years of experience can earn anywhere from 2.5 to 8 LPA. I would not be too sure about 4-9 years.
