Considering a Third Party Payroll Job? What You Need to Know Before Joining

Dear seniors, I want to know if there are any drawbacks if a job is based on a third party's payroll or a consultancy's payroll instead of the company's. In what condition should one join? What are the things that need to be taken care of?
