Dear All,
I am working in a software service Indian-based Pvt Limited company. From the date of joining until now, the employer never revealed gratuity benefits in my offer letter or appreciation letter for 4 years, nor did they deduct it, but they are deducting PF. Now, I am about to complete 5 years of experience with the company. As per the rule, if a Pvt Ltd company has more than 10 employees, the Pvt Limited company is mandated to give gratuity to employees who have completed 5 years.
Clarification on Gratuity Benefits
My doubt is, until this Pvt Limited company declares officially, will it be applicable, or should Pvt Limited companies basically grant gratuity benefits? Please clear my doubt.
Thank you.
