Hi Yug.Prahari, you mentioned that you need notes about HR, but can I know what specific information you need? HR is a vast topic with many roles and responsibilities, such as recruitment, training and development, retention, performance appraisal, and many more.

Please friends, we must encourage the person posting on it. If you feel someone is making grammatical mistakes or spelling errors, please point them out without hurting them. One should not feel guilty for silly spelling mistakes. You should only consider whether the subject material is being conveyed or not. If the meaning of the message is understood, then where do the grammar and spelling mistakes begin?

By continuously pointing out these types of errors, we are diluting the main issues, and the correct results are not being derived. Please overlook some spelling and grammar mistakes. If possible, please help Yug prahari; otherwise, refrain from commenting unnecessarily. Please do not comment solely to boost your ego.

Dear Yug Prahari,

I appreciate your enthusiasm, but before embarking on a job search, please try to determine the type of industry in which you envision your career. There are numerous industry sectors in society such as pharma, IT/ITES, textile, FMCG, commercial, construction, infrastructure, ERP, accountants, logistics, consulting, etc. Understanding your preferred industry will enable seniors to provide more targeted assistance in finding a suitable job.

As other members have pointed out, HR is a huge topic and covers many different things. You need to start by going to the library and finding some general HR texts to gain a comprehensive overview. Once you have this overview, then you can drill down into the various topics you need to study. From there, you can check the library for specific books on those topics. You can also use the Research Box at the top of every page here in CiteHR to search for information on the various topics. Google will also provide you with a wealth of knowledge. If you hope to be successful in your studies, you might first start by learning some basic research techniques. That will stand you in good stead for your future career in HR.

Hi Varsha and All,

Sorry for my spelling mistakes and sentence formations. Actually, I wrote those lines in a hurry when I was about to log out. I penned those lines with the sole thought of helping Yug Prahari. So, without knowing me, there were some mistakes. I apologize for that, friends. Please, as others have said, conveying information is better than pointing out mistakes. I request that, rather than pointing out errors, help them by sharing some information.

Thank you all for your valuable comments.
