Should We Start PF Deductions for All Employees or Just New Joiners? Seeking Advice

Dear all users,

I am inquiring about the PF deductions that need to be initiated. For example, in a company where 200 people are employed, currently only 50 individuals have PF deductions as their basic salary is up to 6500. Starting next month, we aim to include everyone in the PF deduction, totaling 200 persons. Is it advisable to do so, or should we only include new joiners in the PF deductions?

It is compulsory to deduct the PF amount for employees whose basic salary is below Rs. 6,500. For others, it's not necessary; only those who are willing can contribute. Others may be exempted from contributing towards PF.
