well, apart from the available job portals you have social networking sites like linkedin, facebook, orkut, twitter.. its not the best and immediate but you can hold on to them, and when you are calling the candidates always ask for references they work out well :)

Apart from job portals (which are active means), below are the other sources
1) Company referrals (Buddy reference)
2) Networking through friends, friend's friends
3) Networking through portals like Linkedin, Facebook, Brijj, etc..
4) Newpaper Ads / classified Ads
5) Google search / yahoo groups search
6) Hoardings is also used seldom
7) There are couple of sites where you can post your ad for free (quiker/ spanjobs etc)
8) Last but not the least - The major tool for sourcing is HEAD HUNTING
