I want to know the procedures to unload LPG from an LPG tanker to bullets above ground level. Should we allow vapor, liquid, or both at a time?

Both operations cannot be performed at the same time. You need to pressurize the tanker for the liquid withdrawal. If that is the case, how would it be possible for both? Are you using nitrogen for pressurizing the tank or the LPG gas itself? Kindly provide the details of your unloading pump and the unloading line details, so that I can give some updates.

We are using a compressor for the same purpose. Depending on the pressure difference between the LPG bullet and LPG tanker, a compressor is used. Firstly, liquid is taken out and then vapor is unloaded. If the pressure in the tanker is high, it comes out automatically. If the pressure is low, then we use a compressor for the transfer of LPG from the tanker to the bullet. We also have bullets above ground level. Grounding and bonding are taken care of. We have QBDs for detections and sprinkler systems, both in auto and manual modes.

Dear All, thank you for the feedback given by you. Currently, we are unloading LPG from the tanker to the bullet through pumping. While unloading, we release both vapor and liquid valves at a time. It takes approximately one hour to unload 3.5 tonnes of LPG to the bullet.
