Hi Gaurav,
The CTC depends on various factors and we can reach to the CTC directly if we know abt the gorss salary..
This all depends on the company whether to give which kind of benefits to their employees or not. The benefits include LTA, PF, PL Accumulation, mobile, medical reimburshment, food , convenyance allowances, etc.
Once the company decide the structure about the benefits that are to be given to their employees, then only we can calculate the CTC basis on that. You first check with the policy of the company that what kind of benefit it want to include in the CTC.

Hi Gaurav,
Fins below the complete details regarding the CTC and gross salary-
The contents of the salary break up is as below, you can prepare it at the suitability of your own. HRA would be 50 or 60% of basic.
Basic
HRA
TA
Other Allowance
MobileReimbursement / Month
Gross Per Month = Sum of all the above.
GrossPer Annum= 12*Gross/Month
PF Contribution= 12% of Basic/Annum
ESIContribution = 4.75% of Gross/Annum
Medical = The mediclaim facility provided to an employee who are not covered under ESI as the maximumceiling for ESI is 10000/Month.
Getting more than this will be covered under Mediclaim or it depends on company policy
EX-Gratia/Bonus = A fixed amount asBonus
Annual Fixed GrossCost= Gross/Annum+ Ex-gratia
Annual Total Cost = AFGC + PF+ESIC
Annual total cost is also called as CTC.
Hope now it will be very much clear to you,
if you have any query feel free to ask.
Regards,
Amit Seth.

Hi Monika,
The file of salary breakdown is really helpful.
Though we also have such a file where we do all the salary breakup, it was nice to see and explore how other organizations do it.
Thanks for sharing.
Regards,
Ajay
