Seeking Creative Ideas for Engaging HR Presentation at Monthly Company Meeting

Anupama Sahoo
Dear All,

I need a small help from all of you. Every month, on the last Saturday, the company conducts a meeting with all departments. In our last meeting, the HR department was in charge, and I provided a brief overview of the company's profile, aims, goals, and objectives.

The issue is that my boss always asks me to present something on behalf of the HR department. This time, on the 30th of June, I am considering organizing a game, a training session on behavior or time management, or something else that would be interesting. I have over 2 years of experience in HR generalist roles, and I am the only HR personnel in my company. We are a product development company.

If any of you have some ideas, please forward them to me along with relevant information, attachments, or PowerPoint presentations.

Best Regards,
Anupama

Hi Anupama,

One thing I can suggest is that you will have a number of presentations posted here. You can go through some of them and find out which suits you better. If you can send the exact details of what you are looking for, I can help you out. I have some good presentations. Ok.

Thanks & Regards, Manish Thakur, Training Executive.

Hi Manish,

Thank you for your reply. I have worked on the details you provided and decided to focus on "Effective communication skills." I have created numerous PowerPoint presentations tailored to my company's requirements. I learned a lot during the preparation process. However, when delivering presentations, one should avoid using overly formal language. My boss suggested using my own words, rephrasing sentences, and providing practical examples to capture the audience's attention. Please guide me on how to enhance my delivery skills.

I am attaching the PowerPoint presentation for your review. Kindly provide guidance and corrections if needed.

Thank you.

I had seen the PPT slides. But this is purely taken from some MBA textbook. I don't think your boss will be happy with this presentation. Instead, I suggest you read a good motivational book written by some reputable authors. From that, you can prepare slides and thereby make your boss happy.
