Important Update: What Happens to Your PF Interest After Leaving a Job?

Dear All,

This is for your information, please note that when an employee separates (resigns/ is terminated) and does not apply for the withdrawal of the PF, interest will be credited for a maximum of up to the next 36 months. After this period, no interest will be credited as the membership account becomes inoperative. This change will be effective from April 01, 2011.
