PhD Research Guidance: HR Audit in Service Industries Data Collection

meetalimore
Dear all,

I am a lecturer for HR in Pune. I am a Registered PhD student with a focus on HR audit. I am currently facing difficulties in finding companies willing to share their HR data for my study purposes. My research primarily focuses on a comparative analysis of service industries.

Kindly provide me with any information or assistance you may have in this regard.

Thanks and Regards,

Dear Ma'am,

I too had faced resistance when I wanted to collect data on employee satisfaction. We understand the target sector is the service industry. Do you have any particular size of the firm in mind? Or would you consider a stretch of many companies within your sample size? Let's see how far we can resolve this.

Thank you, Cite Contribution, for your response.

Actually, I haven't set any specific turnover or other criteria. The research is solely focused on a comparative study of HR audits in selected service industries. Perhaps some criteria that could be considered are:

1) The presence of a full-time HR department operating for at least 3-4 years.
2) Hiring of a full-time HR manager/professional.

Alternatively, any other general criteria that would assist me in shortlisting companies would be appreciated.

Please assist me with this. Are you currently working in Pune?
