Seeking HR Policy Templates for a Small IT Firm: Any Recommendations?

Greetings for the day!!

Hope everyone is enjoying the public holiday! I joined as a Management Trainee in an IT firm (Gujarat) a year back. We are a software outsourcing company. We do client-based work. The strength of our organization is around 300. We are in the process of restructuring and revamping the organization.

I am working on a project related to HR policies. I need some reference material to understand the basic and the best practices that I can apply in my organizational context. I would be grateful if any one of you could send across some material, template, manual, handbook, etc., that would help me understand HR policies in a better way.

PS: I am working in an IT firm, so I would prefer if the policies are relevant to the IT industry. Although material on other general HR practices is most welcome. :)

I suggest you do a search on CiteHR first. There are "tons" of materials in the archives here, all contributed as postings by other members at different points in time. Please make your request only if you don't find what you need. However, a word of caution – even if you find the necessary policies related to the IT domain, you may have to do quite a bit of reworking to suit your company's environment, as no two companies have identical settings.
