Understanding Leave Policies: Are There Statutory Consequences for April-March Calendars?

I need some clarification regarding the leave policy in my company. The Leaves calendar starts from April to March. Are there any consequences as per the statutory regulations? Please help me in this regard. My email ID is "hr@modyford.com".

I also want the same clarification from anyone. From when does one leave calendar start? Is it from 1st January to 31st December or from 1st April to the next 31st March? Hope to receive a reply regarding the above. Thank you.

Dear Murty,

Both the periods of 1st Jan - 31st Dec and 1st April - 31st March are acceptable as per the law.
