How Can I Expand My Small Software Development Startup in Mumbai? Seeking Advice from Experienced Professionals

Hi Seniors,

I need advice on how to grow my business in Software Development. My business is a startup business. I have a place on rent in Mumbai with 6 computers and 4 employees. I am a software developer and have worked with some software and training companies for almost 8 years. I started this business on my own with some initial savings. I provide customized software or websites for customers. I want to know some suggestions on how to grow in this business.

I can advise you to do the following:

Build a Database

Build a database for at least 1,000 companies. Send them marketing emails that should be short, simple, and attractive. When you generate leads, don't try to push what you have, but find the opportunity to do business by understanding their requirements and exploring opportunities for you. They may not be looking for what you are offering, but they may need something in software that you can arrange to supply.

Build Partnerships

Build partnerships with other IT product vendors so that your product basket will increase.
