Daily Working Hours As Per Indian Law

Need your assistance. Can you pls. advise me on daily wage hours that is required or followed by a privately held company in India. Also can you pls. brief me about common labour laws which should be aware to all in our Country through link/doc/pdf/ppt.

Its 8working hours nad weekly off 2days or one day depends on your company policy.

As per the Factories Act 1948, the maximum working time per day is 9 hrs and per week is 48 hrs. Maximum time without break is 5 hrs. Thereafter an interval of 30 minutes is mandatory. The maximum time span for work including interval per day is 10hrs 30 minutes. In addition weekly off of one day is statutory.
