Inactive PF Account for Over 3 Years? Here's How to Settle Your Claim with an Indemnity Bond

Hi all,

If your PF account has been inactive for more than 3 years (e.g. you have neither transferred nor withdrawn the PF for the last 3 years), and if you need to settle the claim, you may need to submit an Indemnity bond along with Form 19 and Form 10 C. I have recently received the required format from the Regional PF office and attached it here. I hope it will be useful for those in need.

Thank you for the updates. Can this be submitted at any PF office or only at the office where the PF account was opened? Kindly assist with this matter.

For an affidavit cum indemnity bond, we need to have it executed on a 20 Rs stamp paper with notary attestation.
