How Do NASSCOM's New Notice Period Rules Affect My Existing Offer Letter Terms?

As per my information, NASSCOM has changed its rules regarding the notice period. According to their changed rules, the new notice period is three months.

Question about Notice Period Changes

Now, my question is: If the company mentioned a notice period of 1 month in the offer letter, will this change in NASSCOM rules affect my notice period as mentioned in the offer letter? In other words, will my notice period now be three months as per the new rules or as per the conditions mentioned in the offer letter?

Legal Actions Against Forced Rule Changes

Also, if it's not that way and the company forces me to follow the new rules, what legal actions can I take?

If you get a one-month notice period in the offer letter, then it's one month only. Now, it's not the case that all companies follow NASSCOM rules. But if you have a three-month notice period in the offer letter, then you need to follow it. That's it. There is no scope for legal action as they shifted the notice period from one month to three months. Why? To run their business.
