Data vs Information
The words "data" and "information" are often used interchangeably. However, they are not truly synonymous.
Data - Symbols such as letters, numerals, punctuation, character sets, bits, bytes, ASCII, pixels, etc.
Information - Meaning; what we want to communicate or convey with words, speech, writing, and symbols.
