Are Leggings Formal or Casual?

This might be a significant question for many of us: are leggings formal or casual? Can they be worn on regular working days in the office?

Anything that doesn't distract others at work should be okay because leggings are commonly worn with kurtas.

An employee is the image of the company outside; hence, he/she has to dress according to the standard of the company as well as the designation. It matters many times. For example, when working in a company and clients or third parties come to the office, the first impression would be the cleanliness, layout of the workplace, employees, their dress, and so on. If it is not professionally maintained, then the visitors will have a negative impression.

Leggings – when worn with a kurta, it's formal, but if worn with tops or casual wear, it's casual. So, the dress code does have its importance.
