Dear All,
I would like to have your view on my following query: If a prospective employee signs the appointment letter of the organization and denies the offer, does the company have any hold on the individual?
Per my understanding, signing an employment letter/appointment letter makes the individual fall into company norms, and he/she becomes an employee from the effective date of joining as mentioned in the document.
Is my perception right? If yes, then what measures can the company take on such individuals?
Regards,
Veena
