New to Interviews? How Can a CS Fresher Prepare in Just 7 Days?

Can somebody please help me? I am a fresher in the CS stream and haven't faced an interview yet. Please tell me how I should prepare for the interview. I have only 7 days left for the preparation.

In interviews, you should be emotionally stable. Your presentation plays a major role in each interview (20% knowledge and 80% presentation are a must). Don't be afraid. Express your thoughts clearly. These are up to my knowledge.

Different levels/types of interviews are there, and they vary depending on the type of initial interview call and the type of company as well. Assuming it's a first-level technical interview for a Computer Science Graduate, please let me know if this interview is part of campus recruitment for which you have already cleared the written test, or if it's part of off-campus recruitment for which you have already cleared the written test, or if it's a direct technical interview and you have not given any written test. If it does not fit any of the above criteria, please specify the type of interview. Also, please specify the type of company too (Indian IT Company/MNC/Indian Non-IT Company/MNC Non-IT Company).

One thing that really matters in all types of personal interviews is your presentation of yourself, which includes dress, confidence, and knowledge.

Relax, be calm, go through your resume. Relax and take an interview as a discussion with a friend. I do the same thing. Many people don't like the formal pattern of an interview. Be very diplomatic in your answers; no further questions should arise from your present answer. Just design a good and professional resume in consultation with your seniors and have a good knowledge of the words written in your resume.

Further to what Saivettam mentioned, here's one way you can keep yourself tension-free--100% guaranteed. Just keep the thought/worry of the result of the interview--be it a written test or face-to-face or telecon--away from your mind. Meaning, mentally tell yourself that it's okay even if you fail this interview--after all, this is just one of the first few steps in your career, and only HE knows how many steps you will need to take from now on. It will definitely help you to handle any last-minute situations with ease.
