Registration Under Maharashtra Labour Welfare Fund

Dear all,
We have around 55 employee turnover with 5 branches in all over India. Our Corporate Office registered in the state of Maharashtra. We are doing trading activities & dealing in High Precision Measuring Instruments and there is no manufacturing unit. I want to know, whether we are eligible to register under Maharashtra Labour Welfare Fund ? If yes, what are the benefits of registering to this fund or it is mandatory for every establishment situated in Maharashtra ? Please suggest.
