Here are two sample offer letters, one for a general recruit and one for a contract employee.

Sample Offer Letter 1

With reference to your application and subsequent discussions, we are pleased to appoint you in the services of the (organization's name) on the terms and conditions detailed in this letter.

You will be designated as (designation) in (grade). Your salary and perquisite details will be as per Annexure 1.

Your appointment and your continuation in employment are subject to our receiving a satisfactory report from the references given by you.

Your services will be probationary for a period of six months, and the Company will have the right to extend the probation period according to your performance reports. Your services will be confirmed only on receipt of a satisfactory report. You will be deemed to be on probation until your services are confirmed.

You will be required to comply with the rules of the company and the "Code of Conduct."

You will be eligible for leave as per the Company's HR policy. Any unauthorized leave of absence for a period exceeding 15 days may lead to the termination of employment except in cases of medical exigencies.
