They use WORKEMN COMPENSETION SCHEME in option to ESIC as it only covers the area falling the boundry of MUNCIPAL CORPORATION's Geographical limit.

The ESI Wage limit since 1-4-1992 is as follows.
upto 31-03-1992 = 1600-00
From 1-4-1992 to 31-12-1996 =3000-00
From 1-1-1997 to 31-03-2004 = 6500-00
From 1-4-2004 to 30-09-2006 = 7500-00
From 01-10-2006 to 30-04-2010 = 10000-00
From 01-05-2010 till date = 15000-00

Your suggestion is not correct. The enhancement is from 01-05-2010 only and not from 25-05-2010 as noted by you. Plz go through the relevant notification available on the official website of ESIC.

I wanna only inform you that from 25th may 2010 Limit of ESIC was raised i.e. Rs. 15000.
