What Documents Should We Collect from New Senior-Level Hires Like CEOs and Managers?

Simmi
Hi,

I would like to know what type of documents can be collected from people who are joining at a higher level, for example, CEOs, CTOs, Project Managers, Product Managers, etc.

Hi Simmi,

I personally think that one need not make any changes in the joining formalities of senior personnel. It is best to follow the uniform policy for both the senior and junior personnel. You can ask the senior personnel for verification of certificates, fill up forms for issuance of ID cards, bank accounts, etc., relieving order from the previous company, etc. You would not want to be held responsible for the lack of any documents at a later stage. Go ahead and act confidently. Possibly, this is the only time you can act with an upper hand. Enjoy! 😂😂😂

Hi Sherine,

Thank you for the reply and for the confidence you have provided me. Do you think it's perfectly fine to collect the educational certificates, salary slip, and other details?

Nobody will question collecting the documents related to joining formalities. In fact, a good personnel file contains all employee certifications, previous employment history support documents. You can go ahead confidently; I believe any professional will not object to this process. I have successfully completed this process for my current organization.
