Attrition Rates In The Software Industry!!

I work with the HR team of a software development company in Delhi and am currently working on a report on attrition. I am looking for the data on the figures for the current attrition rate, preferably for the software industry. I would request the members to help me with the data, please.

The report is without a doubt ultimately intended to reduce the turnover rate in the company. However, in the process, we need to understand the trends in the industry as well. I have completed the major part of the study within the company, but the industry comparisons are still pending. Hence, this request.

What is the annual cost of turnover? Do you know the annual turnover rate by supervisor, by manager, by shift, by department, and by location? Do you conduct exit interviews or post-exit interviews? Do you hire for competence or for talent? If you hire for talent, how do you measure talent?
