What is an Onboarding Program in HR?

An onboarding program in HR is a structured process designed to help new employees integrate into an organization. It typically includes orientation sessions, training, and mentorship to familiarize new hires with company culture, policies, and their specific roles.

Onboarding means collecting the necessary papers from the candidate, such as education certificates, experience certificates, and filling ESI & P.F. forms, issuing offer letters, and ID cards. All of these are considered part of the onboarding program for HR.
