Planning a Company Presentation: What Should Students Include to Impress Recruiters?

placementcelleee
We, as students, plan to invite core (EEE) companies for on-campus recruitment and to do a presentation in the company to showcase our talents, activities, and achievements. In such a presentation, what content should I include? Can you guide me?

Ideally, your presentation should be structured as follows:

1. About your college
2. About your department
3. Overview of placements in the last 3 years:
- How many companies came for campus interviews / How many placements (attach a bar graph showing year-wise numbers)
- Percentage breakdown of placements sector-wise (e.g., design, marketing, manufacturing, etc.) Attach a pie chart for the last year and a bar graph for the last 3 years.
- Average salary / highest salary offered (graph)
4. Projects completed by students in the last 3 years
5. Extracurricular activities / sports medals won at the national level
6. Participation in national / international competitions / seminars
7. How your students are prepared to take on challenging jobs

Good luck,

Additional Point:
You may consider creating a multimedia presentation that incorporates audio, video, and photographs.

I too agree with Mr. Sambasivam and find his suggestions very good. Along with that, I would like to add some more ideas:

a) You can work on some live projects with the help of your faculty and make a video of your local clients and faculty, and then upload it.
b) You can start a GD on technical or other related topics and upload it as well to make companies comfortable and initially clear that this is the place where they can find good stuff.
