Hi,

Great work! One small correction. Please change the title in slide number 23. Actually, it should be "ineffective leader," right? Keep it up.

Dear All,

Interesting slides. A couple of observations: in the modern world, leadership is about more than influence. To quote Joel Barker, "A leader is one whom you choose to follow to a place which otherwise you would not have made it to on your own" - leadership is about inspiring trust, empathy, vision, shared values, shared culture, etc. We need to move beyond the element of transaction modes. In the modern world, transactions cannot happen without transformation or moral leadership.

Nice to see names of some of the most admired Indian Leaders. Despite Munna bhai - Gandhi not seeming to appear. (Yes, I know, you were talking about business leaders).

Good show.

Regards and best wishes,
Sairamesh

Dear Shanti Rekha,

Good presentation, but very theoretical. You could make it more interesting by adding a few games and activities. Keep scope for interaction with the participants.

Hi,

I have a couple of games that I generally use. I did not include them in the presentation. Anyways, thanks for your feedback. In fact, I am overwhelmed by the feedback and the appreciations that were posted by all of you. Very soon, I am coming up with a presentation on goal setting.

Till that time, bye :D :D

Hi Kannan,

Interesting way to approach this topic. I have a clarification regarding Slide no. 23. The heading is "An Effective Leader," but the bullet points do not seem to be related to the qualities of a leader, such as "Does not listen" and "Fails to delegate."

I believe the heading should be "Ineffective Leader."

Thank you.

Hi,

I had an interesting file on Leadership secrets by Jack Welch. Thought I would share the same in the forum. Trust it is of use to all.

Thanks,
Kavita.

Hi Rekha,

Good presentation - very informative and concise at the same time. I was actually looking for such a presentation.

One more help needed, if I want to deliver this in a session, I would also want to include some group activities or games to make it interesting and more participative. Any suggestions?

Cheers, Pooja

Yes, you do need a correction on slide 23. Also, if you could add more on EI and SI, that will make it more comprehensive.

Best Regards,
Vishal
