Thanks for your reply. What could be done for the institutions that are stealing the show? Because it's a matter of bread and butter for many people all over the country, and I'm very much disappointed with the salaries they pay to teachers. Also, you said that guidelines had been given to the unaided schools. I want to do something about this. How can I do it for the teachers of unaided schools? Is there any legal way or procedure? Please do reply.
Thanks.
QUOTE=Madhu.T.K;1373516] 6th pay commission is for government employees and teachers of govt. aided schools and it has nothing to do with unaided schools. The salaries of the unaided schools are fixed by the respective management and are paid out of their own funds raised from tuition fees and other collections. However, there are some guidelines issued by the respective state government that in order to get no objection certificate from the government to start an unaided school, the teachers should be paid a salary at par with government/aided school teachers and that too through the bank. Some good institutions follow the directions, but some others manipulate and steal the show, that's all. For better understanding, you have to verify the GO in detail.
