Why Aren't Unaided School Teachers in Maharashtra Getting the 6th Pay Scale?

I'm a high school teacher in an unaided English school in Maharashtra. I'm getting a salary of Rs. 5800, but I'm confused about why the schools are not giving us the 6th pay scale, even though the GR has already been issued to all the schools. How much salary should I be getting according to the new GR?

The 6th Pay Commission is applicable to government employees and teachers of government-aided schools. It does not apply to unaided schools. The salaries for teachers in unaided schools are determined by their respective management and are paid from funds raised through tuition fees and other collections.

However, there are guidelines issued by the respective state government. To obtain a no-objection certificate from the government to start an unaided school, it is required that teachers be paid a salary on par with government/aided school teachers, and this should be done through a bank. While some reputable institutions adhere to these directions, others manipulate the system.

Thanks for your reply. What could be done for the institutions that are stealing the show? Because it's a matter of bread and butter for many people all over the country, and I'm very much disappointed with the salaries they pay to teachers. Also, you said that guidelines had been given to the unaided schools. I want to do something about this. How can I do it for the teachers of unaided schools? Is there any legal way or procedure?
