Understanding Stipend Rates for Apprentice Training in ITI Programs

Ashokmore
Dear Senior,

We have engaged an apprentice for one-year training who has completed two years in ITI.

My question is: What year's stipend rate do we have to pay, i.e., 1st year, 2nd year, or 3rd year?

Regards,

Dear Mr. Sadar,

Thank you for your response. We are located in Vadodara, Gujarat, but I believe the rate of stipend will be the same throughout India.

Dear Friends,

Please find the payment details of the Apprentice as follows:
- 1st Year: 70% of the minimum wages of semi-skilled workers as notified by the respective State or Union territory.
- 2nd Year: 80% of the minimum wages of semi-skilled workers as notified by the respective State or Union territory.
- 3rd & 4th Year: 90% of the minimum wages of semi-skilled workers as notified by the respective State or Union territory.

Thanks & Regards,

Trade apprentice should be paid which year stipend if he has completed his 2 years ITI, the first year, or the third year?

---

In this sentence, the word "which" should be replaced with "which" for clarity. Additionally, "ITI" should be capitalized as it stands for Industrial Training Institute. The sentence can be improved for better clarity:

"Which year stipend should a trade apprentice be paid if he has completed his 2-year ITI - the first year or the third year?"
