Guest Model of HRM
This type of model, introduced by David Guest, has six dimensions of analysis for HRM. It summarizes the HRM strategies, HRM practices, HRM outcomes, behavior outcomes, performance outcomes, and financial outcomes. The idea of this model is based on the fundamental elements of the HRM approach, such as commitment, that have a direct relationship with valued business consequences.
Compensation and Rewards
On the other hand, the traditional compensation and reward system is still evident in organizations. SHRM models have the potential to inform the understanding of how organizations design HRM systems. Compensation and rewards might be used and also be more effective in employment relationships, strategy, and management, resulting in a better understanding of strategic human resource management systems.
