Please help me regarding training and development. I want to know what the overall training procedures are for conducting training in an organization. How will we identify the training needs and all? Please suggest an overall training procedure.

Training Needs Assessment

For conducting training, the first step is to conduct a needs assessment. The training needs assessment may be obtained from the respective division heads every year. The training subjects may include technical, safety, environment, health, quality, and general business development topics such as motivation, time management, team building, attitudinal change, and change management.

Based on the training needs assessment, you can create a training plan or calendar for the year and then implement the plan. Induction or orientation training is essential when any new employee joins the organization.
