How Do I Get the ESIC Branch Subcode for Online Compliance Across India?

trivedi.vikram
Hello all, if the head office is situated in Mulund (Mumbai) and branches are spread all over India, how can I obtain the branch subcode for online compliance?

The branch subcode is already in your main code login. When you go to "register new IP," it will ask you to register the employee in the main unit or subunit. There, you have to select accordingly and register your employee. If you don't see the same option, then you should contact your main code local branch office.

Understanding the ESIC 17-Digit Code

Now, ESIC has introduced an online 17-digit code. The code is structured as 00-00-000000-000-0000. Here's what each segment represents:

- The first two digits show the Region Code of the Establishment.
- The second two digits indicate the Sub Region Code of the Establishment.
- The following six digits represent the Establishment Number.
- The last three digits show the Sub Code of the Branches.

You may apply for an application from your establishment where your branches are located in India (within the ESIC coverage area). Please contact your concerned ESIC Regional Office for further correspondence. They will assist you in allocating the Sub Region Code/Sub Branches Code for your establishment. For more details, you may contact the ESIC Helpline.

Thank you.

Thank you so much for the information. In fact, I am also facing the same issue of non-compliance with the ESIC Pehachaan Card in other districts. As per the information provided above, I can apply for Sub Code, and the issue may be sorted out. Thank you once again.
