There is an Executive Diploma course available at Nirma University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. You need to attend classes only on Sundays. The duration will be 10 to 11 months.

Alternatively, you can pursue a PGDHR from Symbiosis, Pune. The forms are available, and admissions are open.

I would suggest considering the Symbiosis course. Since it is reputable and available online, it doesn't matter which part of India you are in; you can appear for the exams. If you are in Chennai, you can pursue the same course at Annamalai University, where they offer the PGDHR program, which is a 1-year course. I am currently pursuing the same course at Annamalai University in Bangalore.

As I am working in Odisha, I have some idea that XIMB is providing a course for such a purpose in which 15 days are required full-time for each semester. Utkal University and Sambalpur University are also providing an MBA course in distance learning mode. However, as per UGC guidelines, all such professional courses are recognized when the duration of such part-time/distance mode courses is more than the regular duration. For that purpose, Utkal University started an Executive MBA Course which has a minimum duration of 3 years and 6 semesters. The classes are normally scheduled from 6 PM to 9.30 PM from Monday to Thursday (i.e., 14 hours in a week).

Hi, there is a one-year course, PGCM-HR, from AIMA (All India Management Association). You have to take exams for two semesters with subjective questions and also submit a project. This way, you can upgrade yourself.

There are some courses that are useful only to some extent, and everything else is learned in a practical environment. The courses are as follows:

1. Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (HRM)
2. Diploma in HR/Admin related courses
3. PGDBM, etc.
