Hi,
I am working as an Asst. Mgr. HR in a private company. I got this job through my friend's reference who was working as a Senior Sales Mgr. in the same company. However, she was into sales and unfortunately could not perform her targets, resulting in a warning letter from the Senior. Our friendship took an ugly turn when she wrote a letter to my Senior HR regarding my job, personal life, and mobile bills, which are not true at all.
Moreover, I am a fresher in this field, and when I seek her help, she dismisses me by saying that I don't know anything. All of this really affects me a lot. Please suggest what I should do when I was not wrong at all. I understand that it was just her frustration, but I was the one suffering. She wants to tarnish my image in the office.
Please suggest what I should do when somebody behaves like this, especially in writing. What should be my duty as an HR person?
