After Probation: Do We Need to Give a Confirmation Letter for Permanent Employment?

Hi, I recently joined a company in the spa business (Wellness industry) with outlets all over India. My question is, once an employee finishes the probation period, do we need to provide a confirmation letter stating that they are now a permanent employee? Can anybody help me by providing a sample letter?
