Dear friends,
i am swapnil and i am working with A FM radio channel, i am new in this field, and i dont have any idea to calculate salary can you help me?
how to calculate DA, and all taxes applicable? plz help me out.

Nice that u work for an Radio FM in Delhi or Mumbai...
Dearness Allowance is normally 50% of your Basic...as such it depends upon organisation to organisation since you are a female in your case income upto Rs. 145,000 is tax free for this financial year 2007-2008 if you are drawing more than u need to do some saving to bring down the net effect....u can save upto the tune of Rs. 1,10,000/p.a. including Medical Insurance for self and dependents.

Nice work ! the pf contribution is shown Rs.780 ( 12% of basic) that makes basic Rs.6500.PF is normally calculated on basic or on PFwages which includes basic+HRA+SPA etc.( Med allow,Conv.Allow.are excluded)
