It has been noticed that some recruitment firms and companies are not dealing in a fair and justified manner. Therefore, as job seekers, we sometimes do not feel like trusting such recruitment firms and companies.
In a recent incident, a call was made by a recruitment firm for a certain position. The candidate's profile was lacking in some areas. The recruitment firm made changes to the job profile of the candidate in the resume and almost copied similar responsibilities mentioned in the job description.
In another incident, an employee was promised by the company that he would be given extra benefits in the form of incentives verbally. However, such benefits were never given by the company even though the target was achieved.

We seek your guidance on how to check the trustworthiness of companies and recruitment firms. Just like companies check employees' references and backgrounds, can we check the genuineness of recruitment firms and the HR practices of companies?
