I hold a B.Tech degree in Electronics and I am currently working in a Market Research Company. I am looking to change my job as I completed my graduation in 2008. I am concerned that if I switch to my field now, I may be considered a fresher even though companies are seeking fresher candidates from 2010 onwards.

I am interested in finding a job in either Telecom or software. I kindly request if anyone has any insights or suggestions on what steps I should take next. Should I pursue additional courses like Mainframe, Testing, or any other recommendations?

Your suggestions and guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I suggest you try Tech Republic; it is a good site. I had posted a URL, but it was not allowed on this site. You may have to find another one through Google. Another good site for techies is ZDNet.

Can anyone suggest a similar site for civil engineering consultancy works?
