Hi all,

I am drafting a policy on IJP, Internal Job Posting, and would request you to share some inputs on the same.

1) Who all are covered under this policy? Are contract workers covered? What if the contract workers apply after being regularized in the organization? Will their contract period be considered in such a case?

2) Are employees allowed to refer their friends (outside the organization) under this policy?

3) Is cross-functional movement allowed?

4) Is there any minimum period of stay required?

5) Can an employee apply for multiple IJPs?

6) Can an employee apply for a position above/below their current grade?

7) Is it mandatory to accept the offer if selected?

8) Is there any time period stipulated before an employee can apply for any other IJP? If yes, what's the minimum time required?

9) Is the current Manager informed about the job, or is it kept confidential?

10) Are performance ratings considered for the process?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Neha.

Hi,

Can I get an IJP for HCL Technologies? I need it for one of my assignments on this company.

Internal Job Posting Policies Inquiry

I am reaching out to inquire about the internal job posting (IJP) policies at companies such as Deloitte, Accenture, Cognizant, and similar organizations. If anyone has insights or information regarding the IJP procedures and guidelines followed by these companies, I would greatly appreciate it if you could share that knowledge.

Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide on this matter. Your input will be valuable for my understanding of different companies' internal mobility processes.

Best regards,

Confidentiality of Company Policies

Policies of companies like Deloitte and others are confidential and strictly limited to company access only. It is inappropriate to ask people for this type of document, as these companies have very strict rules about sharing anything outside of the company, with penalties imposed if employees are caught.
