Hello All, I wanted to know the job role of CSR in the HR department. Is it something like customer support in the HR department (kind of voice BPO)? What is the growth level in this position in big brands like Accenture?

Exploring a Career in CSR

CSR is a nice field to work in, and if you have got an opportunity, you must avail it as it will provide a platform to help project the company's social goals. As for growth opportunities, the sky is the limit, i.e., getting offers from reputed NGOs, business houses, corporates, to working for the United Nations. Take the plunge, but remember "doing the right thing" would take you where you need to be.

What would you exactly like to know, Lily? I guess you might be confused about terms like Corporate Social Responsibility. Did you mean Customer Support Representative? Do you have any HR experience? What is your educational background and experience?

I concur with Ranjeeb. You will learn a lot while you are in a different platform, much more prestigious than other HR responsibilities. There are ample avenues to rise and be in a commanding position.
