Dear all, can anyone tell me how to transfer the PF amount from my old company to a new company?

Get a duly signed Form 13 from your previous company and submit it to the EPF Office at your current employment location through your current employer. Pay PF as usual.

Thank you.

In order to transfer PF accumulations, you need not collect the signature of your previous employer. You can fill in Form 13 with details of your previous PF Account and the present PF account and submit it to the Regional/Sub-Regional Office of the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation where your previous PF account was maintained through your present employer. Once it is submitted, the PF Office will collect the necessary documents like Form 3A, Form 10 (if not submitted) from your previous employer and transfer the amount.

Dear Samuel,

I have just filled out Form 13 and gotten it signed by your current employer. Please submit it to the present RPFC (which means your current employer's PF office). If your date of leaving falls within the current period, i.e., Mar '10 to Feb '11, provide a copy of Form 3A duly signed by your previous employer to facilitate the transfer of your PF amount quickly; otherwise, it may take longer to settle the same.

Thanks & Regards,
Sunil Sharma
