Need Help with Form 9 for Claim Verification: Where to Find It and How to Fill It Out?

We have submitted Form 19 and Form 10C for claim purposes, but they are asking for Form 9 for verification. Please send the Form 9 format and instructions on how to fill out this form.

This is Suryanarayana Raj. I have attached the EPF Annual Returns Formats. These are most useful to you. You only need to fill out the Annual Return Statement. It will automatically update Annual Return Forms like Form 3A, Form 6A, Challan Details, etc.

Just check it once.

Note: Don't separate sheets (E.P.F. Annual Report & Form 3A's) because both are linked sheets.

Hi,

Form 9 is the register that has been submitted for the coverage period for the allotment of PF number. You have to maintain an extra copy for your company's records. It's similar to Form 5 & 10; you need to update the monthly details of new joiners and employees who have left.

Dear Bhargava,

F-9 is an initial document submitted once at the beginning by the employer, later updated by the EPFO based on F-5 & 10. The format is available within the EPF & MP Act 1952 as an illustration. It can be easily downloaded from the EPFO website. Additionally, it is available free of cost at the PF office.

Form 9 is a membership record, whereas F-3A is an individual contribution card submitted yearly with F-6A. It is supplemental to the F-5/10 submitted monthly for any addition/deletion in the P.F. membership. Hence, it cannot replace the statutory requirement. There should not be any shortcuts.

This is an excellent job you have done. I downloaded the same but found the following problems:

1. When I change both files to another drive, it does not work. It works only in the download folder in the drive I actually downloaded.
2. I have only 20 employees. All other columns remain blank. Difficulties in removing them as they are password-protected. Any solutions for the same or can you give me the password.
