Is there any hierarchy in MIS at different levels, and what is the scope in India for MIS?

I feel MIS has a good scope, especially in the telecom and finance sectors. However, you must have a few prerequisite capabilities—expertise in MS Excel, MS Access, and some hands-on experience with database software.
